Mary is also well-known for her character on the reality TV show Storage Wars Texas. Mary is commonly referred to as "The Junkster" or the Junkyard Queen". She is a collector of antiques found at estate sales, auctions and storage spaces. Mary graduated with a degree in photography and then began her career with Architectural Digest's creator Paige Rense. Later, she started her own Mary Finds section. Within this section, instructional videos were given on how to decorate and renovate your home. Following her return to Texas she set up a store under her same name that was a specialist in antiques. A&E Television producers spotted her while she ran her antiques business and offered her the chance to be in Texas' version of Storage Wars. The show lasted for three seasons. Due to her popularity her appearance on the show, she was a part of the original Storage Wars' fifth season. She has been involved in subsequent seasons of the Storage Wars and has appeared intermittently on the reality show from season 5 to season 12 at present.
