Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani Peruvian Muay Thai fighter and mixed martial artist, and competing in the UFC flyweight division. Valentina is her younger sister, and also a UFC competitor. Antonina Shevchenko's career in combat sports started out in the form of an Muay Thai fighter. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Antonina Shevchenko set the professional MMA record in 2002 at KFK's Cup in Kyrgystan against Anara Bayanova. She was 3-0 after winning the second-round TKO. Her next two bouts came at WXF: X-Impact World Championships in 2003. Shevchenko dedicated herself to kickboxing as she took a prolonged absence of MMA. She returned to fight in 2017 and faced Anissa Hasdaoui. Shevchenko won against Anissa in a unanimously-decided match, and then she defeated Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She resigned from the organization and began Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series.
